Women's League Champs, Mens Runners up, Regionals Medals, and a trip to State for the Wildcats.

A bit of excitement is in the air for the Mulvane Bowlers in the conclusion of the 2015-16 season. The Lady Bowlers brought home an AVCTL D4 League Championship from the League Meet on the 19th of February. Madison Osenbaugh led the charge grabbing 1st place with a 623. The rest of the ladies were not too far behind with Schiffelbein at 2nd place (524), Gile at 4th place (484), Feast at 5th place (478), Burget at 6th place (457), and Cuiksa at 8th place (437). The 1st through 5th place finishes are First Team All League and places 6-10 are second team all league. As a team, the Lady Wildcats finished 10-0 this season.

The Men Bowlers finished runner up with Moon grabbing 3rd place (644), Temple with 4th place (624), Rudebusch with 10th place (578). Dixson and Titus were not far behind with 519 and 491 pins respectively. The 1st through 5th place finishes are First Team All League and places 6-10 are second team all league. As a team, the Wildcats finished 6-4 this season.

At regionals, Matt Temple broke his brother Alex's school record for a series with his impressive 730 pins which also earned him 1st place for the Mens Regionals. Alex had the previous record of 726 pins set during the 2011-12 season. Temple will represent the Mulvane Wildcats at the State Tournament on Thursday, March 3rd at Northrock Lanes. On the ladies side, Maddison Osenbaugh led the charge for Mulvane and knocking down 553 pins to grab 7th place, Ryann Feast knocked down 520 pins for 14 place, and Hannah Burget knocked down 516 pins for 16th place. These three ladies will represent Mulvane at State as well this season. As a team, the ladies finished 4th and the men finished 7th overall at Regionals.

Coach Lance Heath: "I was very proud of how Matt performed.  He was a strong senior leader this year, both on the lanes and with his team-mates. I was very proud of how our ladies stuck with it, even though pins weren't falling well for them.  Our senior ladies are anxious to take advantage of their 'second chance.'

The Mulvane Bowlers have had an excellent season this year. Maddison set another mark in the school record books with a single game high of 278 pins, beating her previous record of 268 pins set last year. He max series was 727 and she ended the season with 6164 pins (205.5 average per game). Addy Schiffelbein had the next highest pin count with 5370 (179.0 avg), followed by Katie Gile with 5215 pins (173.8 avg) and Hannah Burget with 5125 pins (170.8 avg). On the mens side, Matt Temple had the highest pin count with 6039 (201.3 avg), followed by Garrett Moon with 5537 (184.6 avg), Austin O'Daniel with 5447 pins (181.6 avg), and Kael Titus with 5363 pins (178.8 avg).  The entire team stats can be found here.
