The Cross Country team has had a good start to the season, they have had three meets so far and received 29 medals..

“As the season goes on I think we will gain a lot of experience and we will be a lot better and feel more as a group.” Said So. Ryan Roderick.

Last years Div. III All league awards went to Caleb Kile- 17:06, Kade Gerlach- 17:29, Erika Landes-21:29, Devilyn Brill- 21:50, and Lindsay Sowersby- 23:29.

“I think we have done really well this year so far.  I think the team will improve a lot as the season continues. My favorite thing about being in cross country is the races we have.” Said Fr. Josie Russell.

“So far the two meets we have done it’s been really good our team has gotten already quite a bit of metals and we have quite a lot of experience so I think we have done really good. I’ve only done one meet this year but I think I’ve done okay but I’m expecting to be a lot better this year.” Said Roderick.

“I got sixth in my first race and that is all I’ve done so far. All i do to get ready to race is to warm up.” Said Russell.

The team continues to work together as the team as the season goes on and hopes to go to state.

“In cross country we seem like a family that’s why I get along with them so good and we are bonded together so easily.” Said Roderick.
