Coming off their camp experience, this year’s cheerleaders took first on their extreme routine against 15 other competitors.

This year’s team dedicated themselves to 3 practices a week throughout the summer  to be prepared for this year’s fall season.

“It was the most fun I have ever had at a camp.” Said Jr. Lindsey Cowin.

This year’s captains are Sr.. Victoria Campbell and Jr.. Haley Wood.

This year’s captains are impressed with the progress the incoming Freshmen team members are making.

“The Freshman are improving and have lots of potential.” Said Campbell

The team chemistry is very positive and creates a good aura around the team.

Traditionally the first event for the cheer team is marching in the old settlers parade. But as a result of the flood that canceled not only the parade but Old Settlers entirely, just added to the anticipation for the team and the first Friday night football game at El Dorado.

“It was fun. It was nice when we won and everybody got together to sing the alma mater.” Said So. Monica Laffery.
