WICHITA, Kan. – Southwestern College junior Olyvia Bish has been named the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week. The weekly women's soccer awards were announced Monday by conference officials.

Bish made eight saves and recorded her second shutout of the 2016 season in Saturday's 1-0 win at Saint Mary. The junior came out of the goal to provide depth in the Lady Builder lineup during Wednesday's cold, windy win in York, and helped Southwestern blank the Panthers.

Bish and the Lady Builders will return to action Wednesday, hosting the Swedes of Bethany College. Kick-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. inside Richard L. Jantz Stadium.
