This past Monday the Wrestling league coaches gathered for the annual All-League meeting and 11 Wildcats were selected for All-League Honors.

Sophomore Chadwick Stahl, junior Gaige Russell, and junior Jaxen Young were all awarded with 1st Team All League honors. Stahl finished his sophomore season with a 38-4 record and was 4A-State runner up in the 120 lb bracket. Russell wrestled the 138 lb class and finished the season with an 8-9 record. Jaxen Young wrestled the 195 lb class and finished the season with a 23-15 record.

Senior Kyle Smith (285) was awarded with 2nd Team All League honors. Smith finished his senior season with a 36-8 record and was brought home 4th place in 4A-State in the 285 lb bracket.

The following players were awarded with All League Honorable Mention honors: Senior James Reames (152 lb - 10-16 record), senior Zane Schlick (160 lb - 10-24 record), freshman Trent Moses (126 lb - 23-10 record), junior Jace Moberg (132 lb - 15-15 record), junior Koen Schanz (145 lb - 19-19 record), junior Jon Meek (170 lb - 19-16 record), and freshman Hunter Dietrich (106 lb - 20-19 record).

The 2018-19 final league standings were:
1st - Rose Hill - 3-0
2nd - Andale - 3-1
3rd - Mulvane - 1-2
4th - Clearwater - 1-2
5th - Wellington - 0-3

This season was also had a special moment when Coach Langerot recorded his 350th win after the win over Clearwater. Coach Langerot has been the head coach of Wrestling since 1989 when Mulvane first started its wrestling program.
