The Mulvane Middle School traveled to Wellington on Thursday for the last away games of the regular season and the 8th girls swept the Crusaders while the 7th girls were swept. The 7A girls sit at 5-6 on the season (4-4 in league play) while the 7B girls sit at 6-5 (5-3 in league) and the 8A girls are 6-5 on the season (5-3 in league) and the 8B girls continue their great season at 10-1 (8-0 in league).

The 8th grade A girls game was a defensive battle on both sides of the court. The final score was Mulvane 19 to Wellington's 11. The Mulvane defense dominated the first half and held the Crusaders to just 3 points and went into halftime with a 12-3 lead.
