Saturday, December 14, 2019, Jr. Trey Abasolo and Sr. Michael Manis were selected to the Circle T Bird Basketball Classic All Tournament Team.
Abasolo averaged 21 points per game throughout the three games of the Classic. In the championship game against Parsons he had 19 points, 13 rebounds, , he finished with 32 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists, against Independence KS, and opened with 33 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, against Labette County.
After four games of the season, Abasolo is averaging 25.25 points per game, 9 rebounds per game, 3 assists per game, 2 steals and 2 blocks per game. He’s shooting 40% from the three point line, 47% from two, and 75% from the free throw line.
Manis was also an all tournament selection after finishing with 13 points, 7 rebounds in the championship game vs. Parsons. He had 9 points, 6 rebounds, 2 blocks against Independence, Ks, and 2 points, 11 rebounds, 4 blocks against Labette County. Manis averaged 8 rebounds per game throughout the tournament and was a big defensive presence for the Wildcats.
Manis is averaging 52% from two, 7 rebounds and 2 assists per game after the first four games.

Saturday, December 14, 2019, The Mulvane boys varsity basketball team lost 52-76 to Parsons High School in the T-Bird Classic Championship game.
The Cats got behind early in the first quarter and Parsons never looked back. 6-8 was as close as the Cats would come to getting lead all night.
The Wildcats will host the Collegiate Spartans this evening for the opening of AVCTL D4 league play. C-Team starts at 4:15 PM, JV at 6:00 PM, and Varsity at 7:30 PM at the Mulvane High School
