The Wildcats Women's Soccer Team Outscore Opponents 11-0 in Last 2 Games

Coach Anna Johnson and the Mulvane Women's Soccer team traveled to Nickerson last Friday (4/5/2019) to take on the Panthers in a non-league matchup. The Cats outmatched the Panthers on their home field and left with a 3-0 win. Junior Kolbie McDaniel led the Wildcats with 2 goals. Junior Carson White added 1 goal and had 1 assist. Freshman Emma Kolbe and Sophomore Emma Anderson both recorded 1 assist on the game. The Cats Defense only allowed 3 shots on goal and Junior Goalkeeper Katie Kanaga finished the game with 3 saves and 0 goals allowed.

The Wildcats then traveled to Winfield for a league rematch against the Vikings on Tuesday (4/9/2019). Mulvane hosted Winfield a week prior and came out with a 4-1 victory. The Cats went on a tear this time and outscored the Vikings 8-0. Emma Kolbe had a fantastic game and scored a personal best 5 goals in the game. McDaniel knocked in 1 goal and had 1 assist. Sophomores Sean Neptune and Cassidey Coon both scored 1 goal. Kanaga finished the game with 3 saves and 0 goals allowed.

The Wildcats are now 5-1 (3-0 in league play) and will host the El Dorado Wildcats on Monday, April 15th, with the Varsity game starting at 6:00 PM at Lyle Couch Stadium. The JV game has been cancelled for Monday.
