MHS - Men's Golf / April 25, 2019 By Kasey McDowell
The Men's Golf team traveled to Prairie Trails Golf Course last Monday (4/15/2019) for the Circle Invitational and left with a 3rd place finishing 371 score (out of 9 teams). The low team score was 336 by Emporia and the medalist was Gentry Scheve from Emporia with a low score of 71.
Mulvane was led by senior Tyler Fox who shot an 89, good for 8th Place followed by senior Isaac Gardinier (93), senior Gage Milan (94), senior Josh Gerber (95), sophomore Braden Sweet (101), and junior Julian Whetzel (103).
The Cats traveled to the Clearwater Country Club for the Clearwater Invitational this past Tuesday (4/23/2019) and left with another 3rd place finish (out of 6 teams) with a 362 team score. 
The low team score was 326 by Andale and the medalist was Bart Neville from Andale with a low score of 80.
Mulvane was led by Josh Gerber who shot his season best 89, good for 8th place followed by Milan (89 - 9th place), Whetzel (91 - 10th place), Gardinier (93), Fox (97), and Tyler Lanzrath (107).
The Wildcats will travel to Cherry Oaks Golf Course for the Cheney Invitational on Tuesday (4/30/2019). Tee off will begin at 3:00 PM.
