The Mulvane Girls wrestling team had their first tournament on Friday, December 6th at Valley Center. Junior Olivia McEachern and freshman Kammie Schanz both finished in 1st place in their weight brackets. Olivia went 2-0 in the 101 bracket and pinned both her opponents and Kammie went 4-0 in the 155 bracket and pinned all four of her opponents as well.
Freshman Emma Bowman went 2-3 in the 116 bracket and finished in 4th place. Sophomore Delaney Hamm went 1-4 in the 116 bracket and finished in 5th place. Sophomore Aleecia Ketcher went 0-4 in the 109 bracket and finished in 5th place. Freshman Jericka Stiles went 2-3 in the 130 bracket and finished in 6th place and junior Elizabeth Kirchner went 1-4 in the 130 bracket and finished in 7th place.
