The Mulvane Girls basketball team traveled to Wellington last Friday for the last games of the year and the last games before Christmas break and the Crusaders put coal in the Wildcats stockings as they swept the cats in varsity 25-51 and JV 40-31 (there was no C-Team game).

Points were hard to come by in the varsity game as the Wildcats went into halftime down 10-30. The Cats fared a little better the 2nd half but lost 25-51. Junior Haley Hughes lead the cats in points with 7 points, freshman Jadyn Stevenson added 5 points all in the 2nd half, sophomore Kamryn Nolan finished with 4 points, and junior Haley Chambers with 3 points. Senior Carson White, freshman Karlie Kanaga, and freshman Haley Shaw all finished with 2 points. (Note: Still waiting on stats from Hudl at the time of this publication).
