The Mulvane Bowling team host first meet of the season, goes 7-1 in the first triangular between JV and Varsity.

The 2019-20 Mulvane Bowling team started their season off with a bang as they hosted Andale and Valley Center at Derby Bowl on Tuesday. The men's team swept their opponents 4-0 and the girls team finished 3-1 on the day. Head Coach Mallory Ashworth is returning for her 2nd year at the helm and is joined by coach Crystal Logan this season.

The men's varsity team was lead by senior Gauge Harness who bowled a team high 645 series. Junior Joel Hileman finished with a 632, senior JD Titus with a 620, senior Jesse Mort with a 585, senior Clement Heck with a 582, and senior Jason Mills with a 530. The Cats bowled an 878 in game 1, 821 in game 2, and 854 in game 3 for a total of 2553 which topped Andale who finished with a 2109 and Valley Center with a 2190.

The women's varsity team was lead by senior Ashley O'Daniel who bowled a team high 440 series. Senior Samantha Conrad finished with a 434, senior Patricia Raymer with a 385, senior Payton Duggan with a 358, junior Shyra Herrman with a 340, and senior Taylor Ingram with a 302. The girls bowled a 624 in game 1, 516 in game 2, and 494 in game 3 for a total of 1634 which topped Andale who finished with a 1333 and lost to Valley Center with a 1651.

The men's JV team was lead by sophomore Jacob Napier who bowled a team high 561 series. Senior Matthew Sharshel finished with a 506, freshman Kaden Bennett with a 497, junior Kyle Duggan with a 441, senior Devon O'Bryan with a 408, and senior Cameron Beck with a 383. The Cats bowled a 687 in game 1, 684 in game 2, and 655 in game 3 for a total of 2026 which topped Andale who finished with a 1548 and Valley Center with a 1034.

The women's JV team was lead by sophomore Serena Schmitz who bowled a team high 387 series. Freshman Brooke Loveless finished with a 384, senior Maria Rodriguez with a 327, senior Raquel Reekie with a 315, senior Emily Manning with a 287, and sophomore Kayla Manning with a 206. The JV girls bowled a 447 in game 1, 519 in game 2, and 447 in game 3 for a total of 1413 which topped Andale who finished with a 0 and Valley Center with a 1362.
