The Mulvane Bowling teams grab 4 wins against El Dorado, Harness sets new school records.

They were at it again. Mulvane men's bowling team and senior Gauge Harness were tearing up the lanes at El Dorado on Thursday, February 13th as the Mulvane bowling team took on El Dorado in a dual. Gauge broke his own series record of 741 that he set last week on Feb. 7th at Derby Bowl with a 780 series (256, 289, 235) last Thursday night. He also tied the single-game record with a 289, tying Julian Wherrell (2009-10) and TJ Bise (2013-14). The men's varsity team won their matchup 2555-1969, the women's varsity team won 1791-1739, the men's JV team won 2045-1812, and the women's JV team won 1451-1436.

The men's JV team was led by senior Chase Milledge who bowled a 557 series with a 235 high game as they defeated El Dorado 2045-1812. The varsity and JV teams both currently remain undefeated on the season and both sit at 9-0.

The women's varsity was lead by junior Gabbie Human who bowled a 506 series with a 182 high game as they defeated El Dorado 1791-1739. The JV team was led by senior Raquel Reekie who bowled a 376 series with a 154 high game as they defeated El Dorado 1451-1436. The varsity girls sit at 6-3 and JV 7-2 on the year so far.

The varsity bowling teams participated in the Andover Tournament on Saturday, February 15th and the men's team finished in 6th place out of 8 teams in the baker's style bracket play and the girl's team finished in 7th place. In the preliminary games, JD Titus led the men's team with a 648 series (173, 233, 242) and finished in 7th place individually for a top 10 medal. Clement Heck finished with a  646 series (247, 259, 140) and finished in 8th place individually for a top 10 medal. Gabby Human led the girl's team with a 488 series (167, 164, 157) but there were no individual medalists on the girl's side.
