The Mulvane girls basketball traveled to Clearwater for a league matchup on Tuesday, February 25th against the Indians. The c-team fell to the Indians in a very close game 25-27, the JV girls lost 26-38, and the varsity girls lost in a tough battle 35-41.
The Wildcats won a close first quarter 11-9 and the second quarter was a defensive battle as the Indians won that quarter 3-1 and the teams were tied 12-12 at halftime. The Cats won the 3rd quarter but the Indians had a huge 24 point 4th quarter to win 41-35.
Kamryn Nolan led the Wildcats with 9 points, Haley Chambers dropped in 6 points, Carson White, Campbell Williams, and Jadyn Stevenson all finished with 4 points, Amber Hansen and Karlie Kanaga both finished with 3 points, and Haley Hughes finished with 2 points. White had a great game in the paint and led the Cats with 13 rebounds.

The JV girls fell behind in the second quarter and couldn't catch back up and fell 26-38. The points were evenly spread as Olivia Lampe, Jadyn Stevenson, Haley Shaw, and Bennet Cottrell all finished with 4 points each. Karlie Kanaga, Gabby Bauerle, Emma Kendrick, and Lauren Young all finished with 2 points each.

The C-team had a close and exciting game as it came down to the final buzzer but the Cats fell 25-27. Emma Kendrick led the Cats with 7 points, Bennett Cottrell finished with 6 points, Lauren Young finished with 4 points, and April Richards, Gabby Bauerle, Tenley Canfield, and RJ Schiffelbein all finished with 2 points each.

The Wildcats traveled to Andale last Friday for a league matchup with the Indians. The Cats had trouble breaking through the Indians defense at all levels as the varsity fell 27-62, the JV fell 23-48, and the C-team fell 10-60.
