MHS - Women's Golf / October 11, 2020 By Kasey McDowell
The Mulvane Women's Golf team has been hitting the links this season and they have finished the regular season and participated in the AVCTL tournament. The girls will be traveling to Wellington Golf Course tomorrow, Monday, October 12th for the regional tournament starting at 10:00 AM.
The girls went to the Pretty Prairie Invitational on Tuesday, September 29th and sophomore Brooklyn Loveless brought home a medal by finishing tied for 8th place with a score of 53 (9 holes). Freshman Payton Fox and junior Jorja Knodel both finished tied for 10th place with scores of 56, but just missed out on medaling due to the scorecard runoff. Senior Shyra Herrman finished in 21st place with a score of 62.

The girls traveled to Quail Ridge golf course for the AVCTL tournament. The only two girls to participate were Jorja Knodel and Shyra Herrman. Jorja finished in 26th place with a score of 115 in the 18 holes. Syra finished in 30th place with a score of 129.

The JV girls traveled to the Hesston golf course for the AVCTL JV tournament and Payton Fox and Brooklyn Loveless both tied for 15th place with a score of 57 and freshman Kaia Moore finished in 20th place with a score of 60.
