The Mulvane High School Klassy Kats traveled to Emporia last week for the National Dance Alliance (NDA) camp. The 2024-25 Klassy Kats consists of 2 seniors (Izzy Bennett & Kylee Hackett), 1 junior (Tessa Hall), 1 sophomore (Ashlyn Beckwith), and 3 freshmen (Caroline Jacobs, Gloria Westhoff, & Kinley Schuckman).
The Klassy Kats received a Superior Rating for the Team Dance they learned at camp and earned a bid to Nationals. They also received the prestigious Herkie Award for their routine. The Klassy Kats received 3 All American nominations and senior Izzy Bennett made the All-American Team for the 4th year in a row! All the girls received ribbons and ranked in their class dances.
Congrats to the Klassy Kats, Coach Bryant, and Coach Kennedy on a successful camp!
