Tuesday August 30, the girls finished seventh with a 225 team score in Hutchinson.
Pratt, Trinity Academy, Hutchinson, Buhler, Hoisington, Cheney, Nickerson, and Pretty Prairie.
Jr.Morgan Mitchell finished tied for 10th place with a 48.
Other individual scores were Jr. Cami Kempf, 55, Jr. Morgan Dial, 59, So. Kendall Cottrell, 64, So. Baylee Hornecker, 63, and Jr. Skylar Rothrock, 69.
“One of the downfalls were all the hills that we had to walk up and down. Also with all the rain that they had it was a bad day to have the tournament because it was really wet from the storm that night before.” Said Rothrock.
Although the team is very confident and expects to set a few new records this year topping last year’s leader Brianna Magee.
The girls are due for someone at the top to emerge as a state qualifying contender, if not a few Wildcats.
