With only three more games left in the season, the Varsity football team played hard against Conway Springs at the homecoming game on Friday October 7, winning 67-27 and bumping up their record to 4-2.

With only three more games left in the season, the Varsity football team played hard against Conway Springs at the homecoming game on Friday October 7, winning 67-27 and bumping up their record to 4-2.
Conway scored the first points of the night with a 3 yard run.
Less than a minute later Sr. Keaton Showmaker scores on a 19 yard run tying the game, 7-7.
The first quarter ends with Conway scoring on a 3 yard run making it 7-13 after one quarter.
Shoemakers starts the second quarter with a 4 yard run putting the Cats ahead 14-13.
Jr. Jayden Price would then add to the lead on a 53 yard run and the Cats would score on the two point conversion, 22-13.
Price scored again off a 4 yard run with a second two point conversion with 30 seconds left in the first half bringing the half time score to 30-13.
So. Jaret Plummer would leave his mark on the game scoring a defensive touchdown on a fumble for 20 yards during the third quarter.
Conway would slip through and scores a 4 yd. run.
Price would open it up with a pass to So. Drew Ellis for a 41 yard touchdown making it 44-21.
Shoemaker scoresd a 1 yard run finishing the end of the 3rd quarter.
So. Blake Scott scored a touchdown on a 11 yard run in the fourth quarter, along with Fr. Cole Diffenbaugh who scored a 44 yard touchdown run to seal the deal for the cats.
Even though Conway scored on a 60 yard run of their own, it wouldn’t be enough.
