Mulvane is celebrating Homecoming week with daily themes, a pep rally and football against El Dorado on Friday.

The Homecoming vibe is in the air this week as students from all the schools have been celebrating homecoming week and dressing the theme each day this week. The 2019 Homecoming Court announced last week consists of Emily Hankins, Callie Humbolt, Karstyn Nolan, Regan Wright, Hunter Dye, Gage Gerlach, Tanner Nelson, and J.D. Titus.

Emily is the daughter of Mark and Jennifer Hankins. As a student at MHS, Emily has participated in volleyball, cross country, track, National Honor Society, student council, and Rowdie Crowd Council. Emily's escort, J.D. Titus, is the son of Sarah Davis & William Davis, and Shawn Titus & Elise Titus. J.D’s activities include Student Council, National Honor Society, Rowdie Crowd Council, jazz band, bowling, and scholar’s bowl.

Callie’s parents are Tony and Renee Humbolt. Callie is involved in volleyball, Future Farmers of America, Student Council, and Rowdie Crowd Council. Callie's escort is Hunter Dye. Hunter’s parents are Danielle and the late Jay Dye.  Hunter has been active in baseball, basketball, football manager, Circle of Friends, and KAY.  

Karstyn is the daughter of Chris and Kari Nolan. Karstyn’s activities at Mulvane High School are Student Council, National Honor Society, Future Farmers of America, Students against Destructive Decisions, Rowdie Crowd Council, soccer, cross country, and track. Karstyn is being escorted by Tanner Nelson. Tanner’s parents are Steve and Amy Nelson.  Tanner’s activities include National Honor Society, Circle of Friends, football, and baseball. 

Regan’s parents are John and Gayra Wright. As a student at MHS, Regan has participated in cheer, National Honor Society, and student council. Regan's escort, Gage Gerlach, is the son of Galen and the late Dorale Gerlach.  Gage has been involved in football, basketball, and baseball.

There will be a traveling pep assembly that will start at MMS at 8:00 AM, then at MGS at 8:40 AM, then at MPS at 9:30 AM. There will be a tailgate lunch at the football stadium and the main pep assembly starts around 12:45-1:00 PM.

The Homecoming daily themes are:
* Morning Monday: PJ Day
* Tiki Tuesday: Hawaiian Day
* Wear Your College Wednesday
* Throwback Thursday: Era Day
* Fan Friday: Green & White Day
