Mattie Ewing completed her senior season by participating in the 4A State Tournament at Hesston.

Yesterday Mattie Ewing competed as an individual qualifier at the 4A State Girls Golf tournament at Hesston. Mattie shot a 114, which earned her a 63rd place finish on Day 1. The top 54 players advance to Day 2, so unfortunately Mattie was unable to continue. Mattie played well in the challenging conditions and enjoyed her final round of high school golf.

During the 2019 season, Mattie's two best rounds were at Cheney and Wellington. She shot a 99 on 18 holes at both courses. Mattie was a medalist twice this season, and she made 2nd Team All League. Shyra Herrman's best rounds were at Pretty Prairie and El Dorado. At Pretty Prairie, Shyra got a 12th place finish with a 56 on 9 holes. At El Dorado Shyra shot a 59 on 9 holes.

Brooklyn Loveless, Maria Rodriguez, and Jorja Knodel were all first-year golfers that were able to compete in a couple of Varsity tournaments this year. Brooklyn got a 16th place finish at El Dorado with a 55 on 9 holes. Maria's best round was at Pretty Prairie with a 66 on 9 holes. Jorja also had her best round at Pretty Prairie by shooting a 65 on 9 holes.
