The MMS girls split with Haysville West last week, fall to Wellington in tough games for the Cats.

The Mulvane Middle School basketball girls had their first home games last Monday, November 8th as they hosted Haysville West. The 8A team took care of business as they kept Haysville West at bay all game long. The Cats didn't allow a point in the first half and went into halftime up 32-0. The second half was much of the same as the Cats won the second half 16-3 and got the 48-3 win. Kylie Schwanke led the Wildcats with 16 points on the evening.

The 8B team handled the Gorillas handily behind the 24 point effort from Ellie Willig and the Cats went on to win 32-13.

The 7A had trouble getting points to fall against Haysville West as they fell 7-25. The girls could only muster up 3 points in the first half and fell 7-25. Rhyan Parsons led the Cats with 4 points on the evening.

The Cats traveled to Wellington on Thursday, November 11th and the Cats ran into a buzzsaw as the 8A team fell 10-57 against the Crusaders. Grace Carpenter led the Cats with 7 points on the evening.

The 7A had trouble breaking through the Wellington defense all evening as they fell 7-50. Rhyan Parsons led the Cats on the evening with 4 points.
