The Mulvane Middle School cross country team hosted their one and only home meet for the 2022-23 season on Tuesday, October 4th. The Wildcats had 8 runners medal in the meet and the 8th grade boys got the highest team finish for the Cats with 4th place. 
Ethan Hankins took the gold medal in the 8th-grade boys 2.0 mile run with a time of 11:49.08. Cole Zimmerman was close behind and got 3rd place with a time of 11:53.58. Abby Dewitt finished in 24th place in the 8th-grade girls race with a time of 16:18.90.
Kaitlyn Paul finished in 9th place in the 7th-grade girls 1.0 mile run with a time of 7:27.65. Penelope Abrams finished in 22nd place with a time of 8:05.93, and Gloria Westhoff finished in 28th place with a time of 8:36.96. Colby Billingslea finished in 14th place in the 7th-grade boys 1.0 mile run with a time of 6:45.90 and Benjamin Brown finished in 26th place with a time of 7:10.37.
