The Mulvane baseball team closed out their regular season this past week as they had one doubleheader on the road at Wellington. The Wildcats split with the Crusaders, winning game one 13-1 and falling in game two 0-6. Parker Clubb earned the win for the Mulvane Wildcats in game one. He tossed 5 innings, giving up 1 run (0 runs earned), 1 hit, walking 1, and 6 strikeouts.
Mulvane as a team collected 11 hits in the game. Nolan Fevurly, Hays Ensley, Reed Hackleman, and Garrett Olson all had 2 hits to lead the Mulvane Wildcats. Grey Sanders, Lucas Sorensen, and Parker Clubb each had 1 hit in the game for Mulvane. Grey Sanders had 1 home run in the game, his first home run of the season.
Mulvane finished with 11 RBIs in the game. Garrett Olson knocked in 3 runners to lead the Wildcats in RBIs. Nolan Fevurly, Hays Ensley, Reed Hackleman, Grey Sanders, Parker Clubb, and Manny Myers also recorded RBIs for Mulvane.
The Mulvane Wildcats finished with 13 runs in the game. Nolan Fevurly, Garrett Olson, Grey Sanders, and Manny Myers all scored 2 runs to lead the Cats. Hays Ensley, Reed Hackleman, Lucas Sorensen, Brayden Tatum, and Grady Myers also scored runs for the Wildcats.

In game two, the Wildcats had some trouble getting the bats rolling as they only had 3 hits and fell 0-6. Nolan Fevurly started on the bump for the Wildcats. He tossed 3 and 1/3 innings, giving up 6 runs (5 runs earned), 9 hits, walking 2, and 4 strikeouts. Manny Myers also pitched for the Wildcats. He tossed 2 and 2/3 innings, giving up 0 runs, 3 hits, walking 0, and 1 strikeout.
The Mulvane Wildcats as a team had 3 hits in the game. Lucas Sorensen, Grey Sanders, and Hays Ensley had 1 hit each in the game for the Mulvane Wildcats.

The Wildcats finished as the #8 seed with a season record of 16-9 and will be in the Regional #1 hosted in Abilene. The Cats will face the #9 seed Lyons\Sterling on Tuesday, May 14th at 2:00 PM. The winner will face the winner of Abilene (#1 seed) vs Winfield (#16 seed) for the regional championship.
