Mulvane Soccer team announces 1 wildcat earned 2nd team honors, and 4 earned honorable mention

The Mulvane Men's Soccer coaches attended the All-League meeting last week and the votes are in. 5 Wildcats were tabbed with AVCTL Division 4 All-League honors.

Senior foreign exchange student Suhayb Hussein earned Second Team All League as a midfielder. Suhayb finished the season with 6 goals, 1 assist, and 13 points (0.7 points per game). 

Sophomore Nathan Cassube earned All League Honorable Mention as a forward. Nathan finished the season as the Mulvane points leader with 8 goals, 1 assist, and 17 points (0.9 points per game).

Junior Josh Miller earned All League Honorable Mention as a midfielder. Josh finished the season with 3 goals, 3 assist, and 9 points (0.5 points per game).

Junior Larry Canup earned All League Honorable Mention as a midfielder. Larry finished the season with 3 goals, 4 assist, and 10 points (0.6 points per game).

Sophomore Jesse Velota earned All League Honorable Mention as a goalkeeper. Larry finished the season with 158 saves, 65% save percentage, and 84 goals allowed (4.7 goals per game).

The Wildcats finished the season with a 3-15 record (2-6 in league play). The men's JV team finished the season with a 4 - 10 -1 record.
