The Mulvane varsity soccer team got a much needed win over Circle with goal by Liberto and assist by McKee.

The men's varsity team hosted the Circle Thunderbirds last Thursday, September 28th. The Wildcats needed a win and got just that with a 1-0 win over the Birds. The teams were tied 0-0 at halftime, but the Cats got on the board with just 2 minutes left in the game with a goal by Dominic Liberto, assisted by Aiden McKee. Gavin Young guarded the Wildcats net and finished the game with 2 saves with 2 shots on goal.

There was no JV game against El Dorado.

The Wildcats traveled to El Dorado on Tuesday, September 26th and the Cats had many shots on goal, but just couldn't quite find the net, falling 0-1 to the other Wildcats. Gavin Young guarded the Wildcats net and finished the game with 8 saves with 9 shots on goal.

The JV game ended in a 5-5 tie against El Dorado.

The varsity boys are sitting at 4-7 on the season and the JV boys are sitting at 1-7-1 on the season. The Wildcats will be back in action this Tuesday as they travel to McPherson and will be home on Thursday against Winfield.
