The Mulvane men's soccer team hosted Rose Hill last Tuesday, September 13th for a league matchup with the Rockets. The Cats fought hard all game, the Rockets were able to find the net 4 times in the first half. The Cats' defense clamped down and didn't allow any goals in the second half and Benjamin Thorson (Sr.) found the back of the net with an assist by Aiden McKee (Jr.). Alex Dial guarded the Wildcat's net and finished the game with 6 saves with 10 shots on goal. "The kids really did play well," said Coach Jesse Myers. "Obviously some things to fix, however, still battling with 15 seconds left to win a corner and try to out another one in. Never give up, always work hard, very proud of these guys."

The JV squad was unable to get any shots to fall against the Rockets and fell 0-5.

The team traveled to Goddard on Thursday, September 15th, for a non-league matchup against the very tough 5A team. The Cats fell to the Lions 0-10. Alex Dial guarded the Wildcat's net and finished the game with 15 saves with 25 shots on goal.

The Wildcats will be back in action on Tuesday, September 20th, and will travel to Buhler for a league matchup against the Crusaders. JV starts at 5:00 PM.
