The MMS girls volleyball teams faced Ark City and Winfield in week 5 triangulars, go 5-3 on the night.

The Mulvane Middle School girl's volleyball teams faced Ark City and Winfield last Monday, September 26th, the 8th-grade girls traveling to Ark City again, and the 7th-grade girls hosting the triangular at home. The 8th-grade girls split on the evening as the 8A team fell to Ark City 2-1 (25-16, 24-26, & 10-15), but defeated Winfield in the nightcap 2-0 (25-11 & 25-16). The 8B girls split as well by defeating Ark City 2-1 (18-25, 25-12, & 15-13) and falling to Winfield 0-2 (23-25 & 13-25).

The 7th-grade girls hosted the triangular at home and the 7A girls split on the evening, defeating Ark City 2-0 (25-10 & 25-7) and falling to Winfield 0-2 (19-25 & 18-25). The 7B girls swept the evening with a 2-1 win over Ark City (19-25, 25-13, & 15-9) and a 2-0 win over Winfield (25-15 & 25-17)

The 8A girls are sitting at 7-3 on the season and 5-1 in league play. The 8B girls are sitting at 5-5 on the season and 3-3 in league play. The 7A girls are sitting at 6-4 on the season and 3-3 in league play. The 7B girls are sitting at 8-2 on the season and 6-0 in league play.

The Wildcats will be back in action on Monday, October 3rd as the 8th graders will host Winfield and Wellington and the 7th grade girls will travel to Winfield for the triangular.
