The Mulvane Cheerleaders and Klassy Kats showed off their talents at Heights and North last week.

The Mulvane Cheerleaders traveled to Heights High School last week for the "Battle of the Squads" competition on November 11th. There were 18 high school teams that performed in the competition. The Cheerleaders performed a routine choreographed by the captains: Senior Bella Larraga, Senior Cierra Milledge, Senior Taylor Shain, and Sophomore Abigail Malanchuk. The girls earned an "Outstanding" rating and received a trophy.

The Klassy Kats traveled to North High School for a showcase performance last week on Wednesday, November 10th. This was not a competition but a showcase with 25 teams, including some college dance teams. The Klassy Kats performed their routine titled "Ape" professionally choreographed by Andie Stitt, and although there were no ratings, the Klassy Kats earned an "Outstanding" from the crowd. The girls also caught up with a couple of former Klassy Kats now dancing in college (Elizabeth Sutherland - Barton and Olivia Lockwood - Wichita State University).
