The Mulvane High School Track & Field team traveled to Wellington for the Wellington Invitational on Friday, April 26th, and the Wildcats came home with 5 first-place finishes, 7 second-place finishes, and 5 third-place finishes. Hunter Landis grabbed the gold in the 400-meter dash with a time of 51.73. Jacob Wilson finished on top in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:06.12. Jonathan Wilson grabbed the gold in the 1600-meter run with a time of 4:58.87. Ethan Hankins finished in 1st place in the 3200-meter run with a time of 10:25.53. KJ Schanz finished on top in the discus with a distance of 123-8.
Jonah LaRue finished in 2nd place in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:08.69. Jacob Wilson grabbed the silver in the 3200-meter run with a time of 10:43.73. Garrett Booe finished in 2nd place in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 44.62. Gunner Uhrig, Lane Rogers, Jonah LaRue, and Hunter Landis grabbed the silver in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3:37.68. Jacob Wilson, Jonathan Wilson, Ethan Hankins, and Kyle Caruthers grabbed the silver in the 4x800 meter relay with a time of 9:08.55. 
Colter Light grabbed the silver in the javelin with a distance of 141-3. Fisher Dye grabbed the silver in the triple jump with a distance of 38-8.5.
James Inkelaar finished in 3rd place in the 1600-meter run with a time of 5:08.56. Jonathan Wilson grabbed the bronze in the 3200-meter run with a time of 11:17.12. Jonah LaRue, Cole Zimmerman, Kristopher Paul, and Isaac Waterman finished in 3rd place in the 4x800 meter relay with a time of 9:16.39. Fisher Dye finished in 3rd place in the high jump with a height of 5-8. Hunter Heckart grabbed the bronze in the pole vault with a height of 8-6.
