League Champs - 4x400 Meter Relay Team

The Mulvane High School Track & Field team traveled to McPherson for the AVCTL Meet on Thursday, May 9th, and the Wildcats came home with 1 first-place finish, 3 second-place finishes, and 2 third-place finishes. Gunner Uhrig, Jonah LaRue, Hunter Landis, and Kaden Palmer finished on top in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3:32.21 and are league champs.
Kaden Palmer grabbed the silver in the 400-meter dash with a time of 51.28. Jacob Wilson, Cole Zimmerman, Ethan Hankins, and Jonah LaRue grabbed the silver in the 4x800 meter relay with a time of 8:38.18. Colter Light finished in 2nd place in the javelin with a distance of 150-4.
Hunter Landis finished in 3rd place in the 400-meter dash with a time of 51.90. Fisher Dye finished in 3rd place in the long jump with a distance of 20-2.75.
All-League honors are awarded to the top 6 finishes in the individual events and the top 5 in the relays. The Wildcats earned All-League honors in 14 events.
