The Mulvane Middle School Track & Field team traveled to Ark City for the Patriot League Meet last Tuesday, May 7th, and the Wildcats came home with 5 first-place finishes, 12 second-place finishes, and 9 third-place finishes. Robbie Rico finished in 1st place in the 3200-meter run with a time of 12:02.18. Tavion Richardson grabbed the gold in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 16.62. Haylynn Jones finished in 1st place in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 17.05. Haylynn Jones grabbed the gold in the 200-meter hurdles with a time of 30.97. Brittani Peschel, Peyton Bartel, Emily Franklin, and Haylynn Jones finished in 1st place in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 4:34.73.
Robbie Rico finished in 2nd place in the 1600-meter run with a time of 5:26.17. Tavion Richardson finished in 2nd place in the 200-meter hurdles with a time of 28.62. Keaton Grizzle, Tavion Richardson, Izayah Dedeaux, and Kyler Dieker finished in 2nd place in the 4x200 meter relay with a time of 1:45.56. Tavion Richardson grabbed the silver in the long jump with a distance of 16-11.5. Peyton Fenn finished in 2nd place in the discus with a distance of 97-8. Peyton Fenn grabbed the silver in the shot put with a distance of 33-4.5. Brittani Peschel finished in 2nd place in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:03.01. Kaitlyn Paul finished in 2nd place in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:48.68. Kaitlyn Paul grabbed the silver in the 3200-meter run with a time of 14:19.00. Keileigh Burke finished in 2nd place in the high jump with a height of 4-4. Rori Turner finished in 2nd place in the 200-meter hurdles with a time of 35.03. Johanna Hutchinson, Sophia Comer, Claire Ramos, and Rori Turner finished in 2nd place in the 4x200 meter relay with a time of 2:06.84.
Keaton Grizzle, Robbie Rico, Kyler Dieker, and Howard Dine grabbed the bronze in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 4:15.35. Brock Garnica grabbed the bronze in the shot put with a distance of 39-9. Haylynn Jones grabbed the bronze in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:04.59. Peyton Bartel finished in 3rd place in the 1600-meter run with a time of 6:50.60. Kaitlyn Paul finished in 3rd place in the 200-meter hurdles with a time of 34.99. Gracie Warner, Addyson Clinesmith, Addilyn Williams, and Keileigh Burke finished in 3rd place in the 4x200 meter relay with a time of 2:07.06. Jocelyn Bauer finished in 3rd place in the discus with a distance of 79-9. Rori Turner, Eloise Baerg, Emersyn Chase, and Johanna Hutchinson finished in 3rd place in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 5:19.44. Aubree Jantz, Claire Ramos, Sophia Comer, and Eloise Baerg grabbed the bronze in the 800-meter medley with a time of 2:21.52.
