The Mulvane Track team wrapped up the 2020-21 season at State, bring home 2 state medals.

The Mulvane Track team traveled to Cessna Stadium on Friday, May 28th for the 4A State track meet. The Wildcats qualified for 8 events at the state meet with top 4 finishes at the regional meet.

The Wildcats finished in the medals in two events at the state meet. Junior Chase Nash finished in 6th place in the men's discus with a throw of 137 feet and 3 inches. This finish earned Chase a state medal and an All-State designation. The girls 4x800 relay team of Amber Hansen (Jr.), Reagan Sparks (So.), Delaney Hamm (Jr.), and Campbell Williams (Sr.) finished in 5th place with a time of 10:15.70. This finished earned the girls a state medal and an All-State designation.

Other Wildcats finishes were Amber Hansen in 14th place in the girl's 400-meter dash with a time of 1:04.79, Jacob Duncan in 12th place in the boy's 400-meter dash with a time of 52.58, Campbell Williams in 10th place in the girl's 800-meter run with a time of 2:30.39, Christian Baltzley in 11th place in the boy's 300-meter hurdles with a time of 42.79, the girls 4x400 meter relay team of Campbell Williams, Reagan Sparks, Delaney Hamm, and Amber Hansen in 14th place with a time of 4:30.96, and the boy's 4x800 meter relay team of Chris Dietrich, Jacob Duncan, Matt Eggleston, Victor Salazar in 13th place with a time of 8:53.49.
