The Mulvane Middle School football teams had their first home games of the season last Thursday, hosting the Ark City Bulldogs.
The 7th-grade team found themselves down 0-14 after the first half of football. The Cats got on the board in the 3rd quarter with a 15-yard TD pass from Diesyl Lasiter to Kolby Burke with a 2-point conversion. The Cats had trouble fining the endzone again and lost 8-14. "We got off to a slow start and could not get anything going on offense," said Coach Beikman. "The boys kept battling but came up short in the end."
