The Wildcats had only one game last week as they prepare for the midseason tournament coming up this next week. The Wildcats hosted the Circle Thunderbirds on Tuesday and the varsity boys fell behind in the first half 22-33. The Wildcats mounted a comeback effort in the second half and got within 3 points a few times, but the Wildcats fell 64-72. Manny Myers led the Wildcats with 28 points in the game and Canon Lazier led the Cats in rebounds with 7 boards.
The JV game ended up being a close game even after the Wildcats opened up with a 23-9 first quarter. The Thunderbirds won the second quarter 8-13. The Wildcats were able to hang on in the second half for the 47-42 win. The JV boys were led by Jack Entwisle who finished with 12 points and Grady Myers and Parker Kraft also scored 10 points each. The C-Team took care of business as they kept Circle at bay all game long. The Wildcats kept the 'Birds under double digits in every quarter and got the 54-28 win. Parker Harland led the Cats with 26 points on the evening.

The Wildcats fall to 2-7 on the season, the JV boys are sitting at 6-3, and the C-Team is 6-2 so far this season. The Mulvane Wildcats will be participating in the Roadrunner Classic this week and will face the hosting Roadrunners on Thursday, January 23rd at 7:00 PM.
