The Mulvane wrestling team celebrated the 2025 seniors in triangular against Augusta and Clearwater.

The Mulvane High School wrestling team celebrated SR night last Thursday as they hosted Augusta and Clearwater for a triangular. The Wildcats recognized seniors Koehn Dietrich, Cameron Hagerman, Ethan Magill, Gaelin Mason-Schmidt, Julius Opitz, Kennedy Rice, Caiden Trione, and Jonah Yates.
The Wildcats won 3 matches against Augusta but lost with a final score of 15-54. Kreedence Lavers and Cameron Hagerman both won their match by fall. The Wildcats won 7 matches against Clearwater and won with a final score of 41-31. Kreedence Lavers, Jonah Yates, Caleb Holle, Cameron Hagerman, and KJ Schanz all won their match by fall.

The Wildcats took 6 wrestlers to the Clearwater Invitational on Saturday and the Wildcats finished in 5th place with 70.5 points and finished with 4 medalists. Koehn Dietrich finished in 1st place in the 120 lb weight class, going 3-0 on the day with 2 wins by fall and 1 win by tech fall. KJ Schanz finished in 2nd place in the 285 lb weight class, going 2-1 on the day with a win by fall and a win by tech fall. Hunter Landis finished in 3rd place in the 138 lb weight class, going 3-1 on the day with 2 wins by fall and 1 win by decision.
