The Mulvane Middle School Cross Country team traveled to Wellington Hargis Creek for the Wellington Invitational on Tuesday, October 1st. The Wildcats came home with 7 medals from the meet and a race champion. In the 8th grade boys 2-mile run, Taydin Walker came home with the gold with a time of 12:00.08 time. James Blauser finished in 6th place with a time of 12:55.71. In the 8th-grade girls 2-mile run, Eloise Baerg finished in 5th place with a time of 14:51.10 and Johanna Hutchinson finished in 15th place with a time of 16:20.92. In the 7th grade girls 1 mile run, Aubrey Teter finished in 6th place with a time of 6:39.27, Alivia Alvarez finished in 9th place with a time of 6:53.70, and Adrianna Hancock finished in 20th place with a time of 7:36.46.
