The Mulvane High School Cross Country teams split their travels today and 7 Wildcats traveled to Wamego Golf Course for the Wamego Invitational. The Wildcats had 3 runners earn a medal in the meet. The medalists for the varsity boys were Ethan Hankins who finished in 22nd with a time of 17:40.13, Cole Zimmerman who finished in 32nd with a time of 17:51.11, and Jonathan Wilson who finished in 40th with a time of 18:24.45. The varsity girls only had one runner in the race and it was Kaitlyn Paul who finished in 42nd place with a time of 22:49.90.

The Wildcats had 11 runners travel to Wellington Hargis Creek for the Wellington Invitational this morning. The Wildcats had 4 runners earn a medal in the meet. The medalist for the varsity boys was James Inkelaar who finished in 25th with a time of 19:42.48. The medalist for the varsity girls was Makenzie Allen who finished in 28th with a time of 27:38.32. The JV boys were led by Carson Trione who finished in 21st place with a time of 15:56.22. The medalists for the JV girls were Emily Franklin who finished in 5th with a time of 16:01.40, and Isabella Landwehr who finished in 15th with a time of 17:47.30.

The Mulvane Middle School Cross Country team also traveled to Wellington Hargis Creek for the Wellington Invitational this morning. The Wildcats finished with 6 medalists in the meet. In the 8th grade boys 1.5 mile run, Taydin Walker finished in 2nd place with a time of 9:06.02 and James Blauser finished in 8th place with a time of 9:27.28. In the 8th grade girls 1.5 mile run, Eloise Baerg finished in 15th place with a time of 11:23.28. In the 7th grade girls 1 mile run, Aubrey Teter finished in 5th place with a time of 7:00.36, Alivia Alvarez finished in 7th place with a time of 7:09.52, and Adrianna Hancock finished in 24th place with a time of 8:11.88. Zane Murray led the 7th grade boys in the 1 mile run with a time of 8:07.50 for 53rd place.
