The Mulvane High School Cross Country team traveled to Chanute-Santa Fe Park for the 4A Regional Meet on Saturday, October 26th. The boys team had 4 runners earn a medal in the meet and they claimed the regional championship with 42 team points. The medalists for the varsity boys were Jacob Wilson who finished in 3rd with a time of 17:30.39, Cole Zimmerman who finished in 7th with a time of 17:51.58, Ethan Hankins who finished in 8th with a time of 17:54.64, Johnathan Wilson who finished in 9th with a time of 17:57.20.
The varsity girls were led by Kaitlyn Paul who finished in 16th place with a time of 22:58.61, just one spot out of state qualification. The girls team finished in 5th place with 90 points.
