The Mulvane Middle School Cross Country team closed out their 2024-25 season in championship fashion at the Patriot League Meet on Tuesday, October 15th at Wellington Hargis Creek. The Wildcats came home with lots of medals, including two team championships and two individual champions.
The 8th grade boys team grabbed the gold medal in the 2-mile run and Taydin Walker finished in first place with a time of 12:29.02 and James Blauser finished in 2nd place with a time of 12:52.12. Eli Kolbe earned a medal as well with a time of 14:05.92 for 8th place. The 8th grade girls finished in 2nd place as a team and Eloise Baerg earned the gold with a time of 14:35.00 in the 2-mile run. Johanna Hutchinson earned a medal with a time of 16:13.30 for 9th place and Dixie Dowell medaled with a time of 19:22.40 for 10th place.
The 7th grade girls team earned the team gold medal and Aubret Teter was runner up with a time of 6:33.70 in the 1-mile run. Alivia Alvarez finished in 6th place with a time of 7:17.50 for a medal and Adrianna Hancock finished in 10th place with a time of 7:43.40 for a medal.
