The Mulvane volleyball team hosted their first home triangular, get win from unbeaten Rockets.

The Mulvane Wildcats volleyball teams hostied their first triangular this past Tuesday, bringing together the Winfield Vikings and the Rose Hill Rockets. The Wildcats kicked off the evening against Winfield, swiftly securing victory with a strong performance, winning 25-15 and 25-21.

The nightcap of the evening was Mulvane against the undefeated Rose Hill Rockets in a highly anticipated showdown. The Wildcats came out firing, clinching the first set 25-21 after a series of impressive serves and cohesive teamwork. The second set was a nail-biter, with both teams exchanging leads. However, Mulvane managed to edge out Rose Hill, taking the set 26-24 in a thrilling finish that had fans on the edge of their seats.

Senior Makenna Treat led the Cats in kills with 15 on the evening and Charli Richardson and Rachael Langholz both finished with 10 each. Charli also led the team in aces with 4 and was 27/28 in serves and Rachel led the team in blocks with 3. Lexi Cunningham led the team in digs with 22.

The JV girls split on the evening as they defeated Winfield 2-0 (25-16 & 25-22) and lost to Rose Hill 0-2 (22-25 & 16-25).

The C-Team traveled to Wellington for a quad yesterday and the girls faced Wellington, Clearwater, and Augusta. The girls went 1-2 on the day and defeated Wellington 2-1 (26-24, 9-25, & 16-14), fell to Clearwater 0-2 (18-25 & 20-25), and fell to Augusta 0-2 (9-25 & 20-25)
