The Mulvane Wildcats celebrated Senior Night this past Thursday for their final home games of the 2024 season. The Wildcats had a fantastic night sweeping their matches against El Dorado and Wellington. Facing El Dorado first, the Wildcats showcased their dominance with a 2-0 victory, winning 25-17 and 25-16.
In their next match against Wellington, Mulvane continued their impressive performance, securing another 2-0 win with scores of 25-19 and 25-12.
The JV team also celebrated a successful night, defeating El Dorado 2-0 (25-15, 25-11) and battling past Wellington 2-1 (23-25, 25-21, 15-3).
The evening was especially memorable as the team honored seniors Makenna Treat and Lexi Cunningham for their contributions to the program. The Wildcats hope to continue the momentum as they head into the regionals on Saturday, October 26th. The regional assignments have not been released yet.

The Mulvane Wildcats volleyball team celebrated Pink-Out Night last Tuesday in support of cancer awareness, facing off against the Circle Thunderbirds and Augusta Orioles.
In a tough battle against Circle, the varsity girls lost a hard-fought match 1-2, with scores of 25-19, 16-25, and 23-25. However, they bounced back impressively against Augusta, securing a 2-0 victory with scores of 25-23 and 25-22.
The junior varsity squad faced similar ups and downs, falling to Circle 0-2 (21-25, 17-25) before rallying to defeat Augusta 2-1 in a thrilling match that ended 16-25, 25-15, and 16-14.

The Mulvane varsity girls finished their regular season with a 17-14 record and 5-5 in league play. The JV girls finished their season with a 10-19 record and the C-Team girls finished their season with a 5-19 record.
