The Mulvane Middle School cross-country team traveled to Lake Afton this past week for the Goddard Classic. The Wildcats came home with 10 medals from the meet between four races. In the 8th grade boys 1.5 mile run, Taydin Walker finished in 3rd place with a time of 8:50.71. James Blauser finished in 10th place with a time of 9:23.13, and Eli Kolbe finished in 24th place with a time of 10:04.65.
In the 8th grade girls 1.5 mile run, Eloise Baerg finished in 10th place with a time of 11:35.17, Johanna Hutchinson finished in 15th place with a time of 12:27.92, Dixie Dowell finished in 23rd place with a time of 13:59.84, and Brianna Allen finished in 26th place with a time of 14:49.38.
In the 7th grade girls 1 mile run, Aubrey Teter finished in 9th place with a time of 6:41.78, Alivia Alvarez finished in 11th place with a time of 6:47.50, and Adrianna Hancock finished in 29th place with a time of 8:31.20.
