The Mulvane High School Wildcats traveled to Winfield for a triangular, taking on the Circle Thunderbirds and the Winfield Vikings. The Wildcats fell to Circle in a closely contested match, losing 1-2 with set scores of 25-21, 13-25, and 21-25. However, the team bounced back against the host Vikings, securing a solid 2-0 victory with scores of 25-19 and 25-15.
Charli Richardson and Rachael Langholz led the team in kills with 12 each and Makenna Treat finished with 11 kills and a team-leading 4 blocks. Kylie Schwanke led the team in assists with 28.

The JV girls also split in the evening with a 0-2 loss to Circle with scores of 19-25 and 22-25 and defeated Circle 2-0 with scores of 25-9 and 25-16. The C-Team girls traveled to Buhler on Thursday for a quad and lost to Buhler 0-2 with scores of 23-25 and 11-25, fell to Augusta 0-2 with scores of 20-25 and 21-25, and lost to McPherson 1-2 with scores of 25-22, 20-25, and 13-15.
The Wildcats will be back in action on Tuesday, October 1st as they travel to Buhler for a triangular with Buhler and Augusta.
