The Mulvane High School girls wrestling team traveled to Wellington on Saturday, December 14th for the Wellington Girls Invitational. The Wildcats had 9 girls participating in the tournament and finished with 4 medalists and 7th place with 87 team points. Senior Leiannah Landreth finished on top of the podium in the 120 lb weight class, winning all three of her matches by fall. Junior Makenzie Rogers finished in 3rd place in the 145 lb weight class, going 3-1 on the day with 2 wins by fall and one by medical forfeit. Freshman Keileigh Burke finished in 4th place in the 125 lb weight class, going 2-2 in the tournament with 2 wins by fall. Freshman Emily Franklin finished in 4th place in the 130 lb weight class, going 2-2 on the day and had 2 wins by fall.
