The Mulvane Middle School girls wrestling team closed out their second official season on Monday at the Patriot League Tournament and the Wildcats came home with two league champions and several medalists. 8th grader Lydia McGrew took the gold in the 110 lb weight class, going 2-0 in the tournament. 8th grader Layla Myers also went 2-0 in the tournament in the 115 lb weight class and finished in 1st place.
Finishing in 2nd place for the Wildcats was AnaLena Thrash in the 90 lb weight class and Cheyenne Warner in the 140 lb weight class. Finishing in 3rd place in the tournament was Annabelle Nett in the 95 lb weight class, Reese Noell in the 120 lb weight class, Isabella Hill in the 125 lb weight class, and Myka Rees in the 130 lb weight class. Anna Doss finished in 4th place in the 190 lb weight class.
The Wildcats as a team finished in 5th place with 122 team points.
