The Mulvane Middle School boy's basketball teams had two games at home this past week. The Cats hosted Rose Hill on Tuesday and the 8A team took care of business as they kept Rose Hill at bay all game long, winning 53-22. The Wildcats were led by Hollis Ensley who finished with 14 points on the evening. Jaxon Treat and Beckett Frazier also scored in double digits with 12 and 10 points respectively. The 8B team played only two quarters and the Cats won 18-9. Bronson Myers led the Cats with 8 points.
The 7A boys had trouble getting points to fall against Rose Hill as they fell 12-40. Rose Hill jumped out ahead of the Cats in the first half 23-8. The Rockets kept up the pressure in the second half and got the win. Christian Perkins led the Wildcats with 7 points in the game. The 7B team also had trouble breaking through the Rose Hill defense all evening as they fell 17-31. Layne Sorensen and Jace Parker led the Cats with 6 points each in the contest

The Mulvane Wildcats hosted the El Dorado Wildcats on Thursday and the 8A boys jumped out with a 21-14 lead at halftime and finished strong for a 38-28 win. Hollis Ensley led the Cats with 18 points on the evening. Beckett Frazier broke into double digits with 12 points. The 8B team had no trouble against El Dorado and won 36-14. Wyatt Smith had his best game of the season so far and led the Wildcats with 11 points in the game.
The 7A team had a monster game and won easily 51-28. The boys jumped out ahead in the first half with a 20-15 lead and exploded in the second half, outscoring El Dorado 31-13. Aiden Meek had a phenomenal game and led the Wildcats with 17 points in the contest. The 7B team also had no trouble against El Dorado as they won the game 42-11 behind a monster effort by Diesyl Lasiter who led the Cats with 19 points on the evening.
