The Mulvane 7th grade basketball team traveled to Clearwater on Saturday for the 2024-25 Patriot League tournament. The Wildcats were paired up against Ark City to start the tournament. The Wildcats jumped out to a 19-2 lead in the first half and finished strong for the 37-11 win. Axel Meek led the boys with 15 points in the game.
In game two, the Wildcats faced a tough Winfield team. The Wildcats had a tough second and third quarter against the Vikings and the Cats fell 26-47 to end their season. Axel Meek led the Wildcats with 8 points in the ballgame.

The 7A boys finished the season with an 8-6 record and 3-2 in league play. The Wildcats were led by Christian Perkins who finished with 112 points, Axel Meek with 105 points, and Diesyl Lasiter with 100 points. The 7B boys finished the season with a 9-3 record and 3-2 in league play. The 7B boys were led by Diesyl Laster with 76 points, Kolby Burke with 51 points, and Braxon Brube with 46 points.
