The Mulvane 8th grade basketball team traveled to Clearwater on Saturday for the 2024-25 Patriot League tournament. The Wildcats were paired up against Clearwater to start the tournament. The Wildcats had a great defensive effort against the Indians, but had trouble getting the points to fall as they fell 22-30 to end their season. Jaxon Treat led the boys with 7 points in the ballgame.

The 8A boys finished the season with an 8-5 record and 2-3 in league play. The Wildcats were led by Hollis Ensley who finished with 161 points, Beckett Frazier with 104 points, and Jaxon Treat with 57 points. The 8B boys finished the season with a 7-5 record and 3-2 in league play. The 8B boys were led by Jaxon Treat with 43 points, Wyatt Smith with 38 points, and Bronson Myers with 35 points.
