The Mulvane men's basketball team closed out their regular season last week. Will face Abilene in sub-state.

The Mulvane High School basketball team closed out their 2024-25 regular season last week with a home game against McPherson and an away game against Circle. The Cats traveled to Circle on Thursday for their final game of the season. The game was a battle between the two teams but the Wildcats fell just short with a final score of 61-63. The Cats were led by Canon Lazier who finished with 26 points and Jack Entwisle finished with 12 points.

The JV team took care of business and won their game against the Vikings 60-42. The Wildcats had three players score in double digits, led by Tavion Richardson with 17 points, Dyllon Darling with 16 points, and Jack Entwisle with 12 points. The C-Team won their game 57-31. No stats or box score is available for the C game.

The Wildcats hosted McPherson last Tuesday and celebrated senior night as they recognized senior Cooper Slayton before the varsity game. The Wildcats had trouble getting the points rolling against the Bullpups and the Wildcats fell 36-75. Cooper Slayton led the boys with 9 points in the game.

The JV team had a fairly close game against McPherson, but a tough 4th quarter doomed the Cats as they fell 45-56. Parker Kraft and Dyllon Darling led the Cats with 15 points each in the contest. The C team had a shootout with McPherson as they were neck and neck for most of the ballgame, but the Wildcats came out on top 41-37. Kole Schwanke led the Cats with 9 points on the evening.
