Daniel Myears
Head Coach / Offensive Coordinator / QB-RB Coach


Coach Myears has been a Mulvane High School Football coach since 2003 and took over the head coaching position in the 2018 season. He is also the offensive coordinator as well as the QB/RB coach. Coach Myears is a 1993 graduate of Mulvane High School. A graduate of Wichita State University in 1998. Coach Myears also served Mulvane Football as a middle school coach in both 2001 and 2002. Coach Myears offensive experience began at Friends University where he was an offensive assistant from 1998-2000. Coach Myears is a weight lifting and co-ed PE at Mulvane High School. Coach Myears was also the Head Girls Basketball Coach from 2018-2020. Coach Myears is supported by his wife Chele, a Mulvane graduate of 1995. They have two children together Chase a 2017 graduate of MHS and Grace, graduating from MHS in the spring of 2019.

Steve Nelson
Defensive Coordinator / Linebackers Coach


Coach Nelson has been a Mulvane High School Football coach since 2008 and serves as the defensive coordinator. Coach Nelly was the Head Football Coach of the Mulvane Middle School in 2006 and 2007. Before taking over the head duties he spent 4 years as the defensive coordinator for the Mulvane Middle School Football programs. The student/athletes he has coached have a tremendous relationship with Coach Nelson and great respect for his work ethic. Coach Nelson graduated from Mulvane in 1993 where he played Wide Receiver and Defensive Back. Coach Nelson was named the Varsity head baseball coach at Mulvane in 2018-19. An Emporia State University grad in 1997, Coach Nelly teaches history at the Mulvane High School. Coach Nelly is supported by his lovely wife Amy, a Mulvane graduate of 1996.

Randy Fox
Offensive Line Coach


Coach Randy Fox has been a Mulvane High School Football coach since 1997. Coach Fox is the offensive line coach for the MHS Wildcats, and certified athletic trainer for Mulvane High School. Coach Fox began his Wildcat football journey with Mulvane as the team's athletic trainer in 1994 assigned from Via Christi Sports Medicine. Coach Fox's son Jordan played at MHS from 2006 - 2009 and was a student football coach for Butler Community College for 2 years. Coach Fox, a Lincoln, Nebraska native, (Lincoln Northeast 1980) began his athletic training career in Lincoln, Nebraska as a student trainer for the University of Nebraska from 1983 - 1985 and was with the Cornhuskers for the 1984 Sugar Bowl and 1985 Fiesta Bowl games. Coach Fox teaches World History, Civics, and Athletic Training at MHS and is supported by his lovely bride Tracey, a graduate of Bishop Carroll High School (1988 ) in Wichita.

Dave Dieker
Defensive Line Coach


Coach Dieker began coaching for the Mulvane High School football team in the 2017 season. Coach Dieker is the defensive line coach for the MHS Wildcats. Coach Dieker teaches Industrial Technology at MHS and has been the JV baseball coach at Mulvane since the 2008-09 school year.

Kolby Fennewald
Secondary Coach


Coach Fennewald began his football coaching career at Mulvane High School in the 2018 season. Coach Fennewald was part of the 2012 football team who made it to the 4A semifinals. Coach Fennewald graduated from Mulvane in 2013 where he played Safety and graduated from William Jewell College (2017) where he served as a Graduate Assistant for William Jewell in the 2017 season. Coach Fennewald now works for BNSF railway and is supported by his wife BayLee (7-14-2018).

Coach Whisler began coaching for the Mulvane High School football team in the 2019 season. Coach Whisler is the assistant offensive line coach for the MHS Wildcats. Coach Whisler teaches Industrial Technology at MHS.

Pete Myers
Offensive Line Coach


Coach Myers started his high school football coaching career in the 2021 season as the newest member of the Mulvane Wildcats coaching staff. Coach Myers is a 1997 graduate of Mulvane High School and was the quarterback and defensive back for the Wildcats in high school. Coach Myers was 2nd team all league for defensive back his senior year.
